The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize students with the commonalities among typical business plan models.
Research a minimum of FOUR typical business plan models.
In a paper of 1,000-1,500-words:
1. Compare and contrast these typical business plan models.
2. Describe the strengths and limitations of these models.
3. Compare these models to the business plan models in Microsoft Project.
4. Select the model that you believe will work best for your assigned CLC (community learning center; aka- my group/team activity) Business Plan; EXPLAIN your rationale for this selection.

Below is instructions on how to obtain the Microsoft Office Project 2010 (which is needed for comparison of this assignment). At the bottom is the link to open the MS Office Project application.
Using MS Project
Click on Part 4, the media tool “Welcome to HCA-620: Business/Project Plan Evaluation and Development”. You will then be asked to click on MS Project (PC). Use the MS Project (PC) button to view the Microsoft tutorial on MS Project 2010. Click on each of the topics listed on the left side, starting with Create a new project. Continue through each one until you get to Practice.
At this point, be sure that MS Project is not open on your computer. Having the program open will disrupt the following process and will require Technical Support to correct the issue.
Click on a link called Practice in Project 2010. Once you click on that link, you will need to make sure that you have administrative privileges in order to download a file.
Once you have downloaded the file, you will be asked to accept the Microsoft Service Agreement. You must accept to continue.
Next, you will be asked to download an Active X control file. You will need to download this file in order to complete the tutorial. Downloading the Active X file will open MS Project. (Note: If you already have MS Project open, you will receive an error message. If you get any error message you will need to contact school Technical Support)
Once the Active X control is downloaded and MS Project has opened, you can proceed with the Practice exercise.
